Every basket costs about $250 to fill. Your gift becomes the supplies, the blanket and the candle that a grieving mother takes home.

The embroidered heart on a Baskets of Healing blanket: Faith, Hope, Healing. May prayers of strength and love surround you in your healing.

Baskets of Healing Foundation Inc is an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting postpartum mothers who experience stillbirth or infant loss. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. EIN 39-3773780.

Three ways to give

How your donation is used

We are an all-volunteer organization with no paid staff and no office. Monetary donations go directly toward supplies. Here is roughly what it takes to fill one basket:

Beyond supplies, our only costs are small and practical: the website you are reading, postage when we ship baskets to a hospital we cannot drive to, and printing. We cover most of these ourselves. If you would like details of our finances or a copy of our IRS determination letter, just ask.

Give in memory

Many of our donors give in memory of a baby, or in honor of a mother who has walked this road. Our very first basket was given in the name of John Aydin, and we would be honored to carry another name forward. After you give, email jessica@basketsofhealing.org with the name you would like remembered and we will include it when we pack the basket.
